A sum more powerful than the parts

I recently had the opportunity to attend a meeting of the Neuroscience Nursing Benchmarking Group, held at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery on 22 June. It was extremely pleasing to hear at this meeting just how passionately those nurses who attended feel about this journal. There appears to be a real sense of ownership of the British Journal of Neuroscience Nursing among UK neuroscience nurses, who see this as their journal. It was also extremely well received at the recent congress of the European Association of Neuroscience Nurses (EANN) in Reykjavík, Iceland, and I am very grateful to those editorial board members who attended the conference and promoted BJNN. Apparently, Chris Eberhardie and Mary Braine were unable to keep up with the demand and hand out copies of the journal quickly enough!
