Israel-based alkaline fuel cell manufacturer GenCell Energy has completed a proof-of-concept backup power project that incorporates remote monitoring of backup power in a microgrid configuration at a mission-critical field site in the country. The company is also deploying its A5 off-grid solution to power an advanced test unit at an emergency communications system station in Iceland.
