Volumetric Energy Density of Deformation in Inhomogeneous Media as Criterion for Evaluating Behavior of Material Under Extreme Operating Conditions

Abstract The present paper solves a problem of determining and numerical modeling of one of the most important local elastic characteristics - the volumetric density of deformation energy - in dispersion-filled composite materials having different densities of placing spherical inclusions in differe...

Prediction of values of said energy characteristic in a separate element of inhomogeneity depending on composition, structure, geometric shape and concentration of components, as well as type and magnitude of mechanical (or temperature) impact allows considering its redistribution in non-homogeneous medium, which has a perspective of its application for creation of modern composite materials of working structural elements in the Arctic zone.
