Summary: | Abstract The purpose of the work is to analyze the possible consequences of global warming on the state of permafrost and the issues of predicting the degradation of foundations during construction and design in permafrost regions. The study determines the principles and constructive solutions of foundations in areas with permafrost. From the presented options, the most rational one is selected. The analysis of observational data on the degradation of permafrost is given, on the basis of which the forecast of further degradation is built. Based on the research results, a rational method for erecting foundations in permafrost areas was determined taking into account the predicted degradation of permafrost. |
