The research results were obtained on the basis of the Yakut Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture named after M.G. Safronov. The studies of harmful objects are based on standard methods for their determination. During the research since 2010, it has been established that strawberry leaf beetle, weevil, dead beetle, wireworm, slugs and leafhoppers are classified as less dangerous pests, the damage to which is not significant and depends on weather conditions. In recent years, due to the anthropogenic nature of the territories, birds of the thrush family have been identified as malicious pests of strawberries, which cause irreparable damage to the crop. For bird control, we recommend using mosquito nets, which can largely save the crop. In view of the use of strawberries for the nutrition of the population, over a long period of research (2010-2020), we have identified a biologically proven method of combating diseases and pests using timely treatments with onion peel infusion throughout the growing season, which are effective in combating pests and allows you not to use toxic chemicals, keeping strawberry plantings in an environmentally safe state. An effective way to prevent damage to strawberry leaves by spotting has been revealed - regular treatments with phytosporin. These developments in the culture of strawberries in the conditions of Yakutia make it possible to grow environmentally friendly products for the population.
