(b and d) Using the published distal-centriole, geometry showed that adjacent microtubules are connected in two ways, a linker that connected adjacent inner AB-junctions (blue arrowhead), and arm-like densities that connected protofilaments A09 and the persistent C-tubule of the adjacent triplet (green arrowhead).
