The Nearctic Knot may be represented by individuals observed in Poland during winter and early spring or occurring during autumn migration and then recorded on wintering grounds in western Europe, and also by juveniles appearing not numerously in the first half of August, hence earlier than the probable period of arriving juveniles of the Siberian subspecies Calidris canutus canutus at the Baltic.
