Reidentification of a Pleistocene " Salmo " as the first fossil Gadus from Canada

The genus Gadus is recorded for the first time from a Canadian Pleistocene deposit. The fossil skull was previously tentatively identified as an Atlantic salmon, Salmo salar? There now appears to be no record of Salmo salar from the Pleistocene.
