A new marine piscicolid leech from Newfoundland placed provisionally in the genus Malmiana

A description is given of a medium-sized subcylindrical eyeless leech from Myoxocephalus scorpius that lacks a functional male bursa and muscular organ, has fully independent postcaeca, and is recognized as 'Malmiana' nuda sp. nov.
