Summary:The effects of relative humidity, pressure, and gases on the larval form of the nematode Terranova decipiens are described. Viability was proportional to the moisture condition, but at any one moisture level viability was inversely proportional to a temperature increase.Larvae will not live for a period of more than 3 days unless they are in water or living fish tissue.Pressure and gases have no effect on the larvae except for reduction in the autotoxicity, and contamination of the media.
