THE EFFECTS OF PHYSICAL STIMULI ON THE LARVAL STAGE OF TERRANOVA DECIPIENS (KRABBE, 1878) (NEMATODA:ANISAKIDAE): I. TEMPERATURE

The reactions of the larval stage of the nematode Terranova decipiens found in the flesh of cod fish were examined under various temperature conditions. The relationship between these reactions and the survival of the nematode in the fish, as well as its future behavior in seals, is considered.
