Unattended stations which automatically measure and record auroral intensities for a period of two months are needed to continue the conjugate-point studies. A feasibility study of unattended stations for this kind of observation was made, and a station which measures auroral intensities and records the data in a computer-compatible form was designed and tested in July and August, 1968.
