Salmon returns consisted of 5 taken in commercial gear in Labrador and 1 angled in a west coast Newfoundland river, giving a total recovery of 17.1%. Only 2, or 8.3%, of the tagged grilse were recaptured, both being caught in commercial gear in Labrador.
