Detrital mineralogy and petrology of deep-water continental margin sediments off Newfoundland

Seventeen long piston cores have been examined from the continental slope and rise off the Grand Banks and from nearby seamounts. Most cores penetrate Holocene and late Wisconsinan sediment.
