This sparse, but well-preserved fauna is similar to the poorly-preserved fauna from the central and southern Appalachians, as well as the abundant and diverse Regulares fauna from the Cordillera, but unlike contemporaneous asiatic and australoantarctic faunas, lending support to the view that late Lower Cambrian archaeocyaths in North America were endemic.
