The type locality of Polygonum plumosum
Inadvertently switched labels on specimens at the New York Botanical Garden led J. K. Small to cite the wrong locality for the specimen he selected as the holotype for Polygonum plumosum. The correct locality is St. Matthew Island, Alaska, not St. Paul Island.
