The mosses of Bathurst Island, N.W.T., Canada

Eighty-two moss species are reported from Bathurst Island, in the Canadian High Arctic. Pterygoneurum arcticum is new to the bryoflora of Arctic Canada. Sixteen species were found in subfossil peats. The Bathurst Island moss flora is most similar to that of Prince Patrick Island.
