A NEW NEARCTIC GENUS OF MYCETOPHILIDAE (DIPTERA) WITH A STENOPTEROUS FEMALE
Abstract Baeopterogyna nudipes n. gen., n. sp., family Mycetophilidae, tribe Sciophilini, from Yukon Territory and Alaska, is described and illustrated. The male has normal wings; the female has wings greatly reduced in size, a condition not previously known in the family.
