A NEW SPECIES OF ACTORNITHOPHILUS (MALLOPHAGA: MENOPONIDAE) FROM THE KNOT

Abstract The new species Actornithophilus canuti is described and illustrated from specimens found within the quills of primary flight feathers of a knot, Calidris canutus (Linnaeus).
