A bowhead whale calf observed in northeast Greenland waters
ABSTRACT A bowhead whale mother and calf pair was recorded off the northeast Greenland coast in July 2009. This is apparently the first calf observed in the Spitsbergen stock of the bowhead whale since 1981.
