Northern Co-ordination and Research Centre of the Canadian Department of Northern Affairs and National Resources

The Northern Co-ordination and Research Centre was established in 1954, at the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Northern Development, and reports to government through the Secretary of this committee. It has three main functions—co-ordination, information and research.
