The scolex of Tetrabothrius affinis (Lönnberg), a cestode from Balaenoptera musculus L., the blue whale

The material used in the present study was part of a collection of parasitic worms, from whales in the Ross Sea, given to the writer by Mr W. Ross Cockrill, F.R.C.V.S. A general account of this collection has already been published (Rees, 1953).
