Maclurina manitobensis (Whiteaves, 1890) forms a distinctive part of the Late Ordovician-age “Arctic Ordovician fauna.” An unusually large specimen (25 cm in diameter) from the Bighorn Dolomite (Upper Ordovician), Wyoming, is illustrated; this Wyoming specimen is the volumetrically largest Paleozoic gastropod ever reported.
