Observations on the Drainage of a Glacier-Dammed Lake in Norway
Abstract The behaviour of a Norwegian glacier-dammed lake, before, during and after drainage in 1957 is described. The evidence of former shoreline terraces is interpreted and possible drainage mechanisms are discussed.
