A Supraglacial Extension of an Ice-Dammed Lake, Tunsbergdalsbreen, Norway

Abstract Observations on Tunsbergdalsbreen show that an ice-dammed lake, Store Brimkjelen, overflowed on to the surface of the glacier. The lake lifted a section of the glacier and formed a long irregular crevasse along the line of dislocation.
