A New Subspecies of the Nearctic Species Lamproscatella brunneipennis (Mall.) from Northern Norway (Diptera: Ephydridae)

Abstract A new subspecies, Lamproscatella brunneipennis (Malloch) ssp. norvegica n. ssp., is described and figured on material from the area of supposed glacial refugia in northern Norway. The male genitalia of L. sibilans (Hal.) and L. brunneipennis brunneipennis (Malloch) are figured.
