Abstract The lectotypes of the following six species described by Lundbeck (I898) are designated and described: Eukiefferiella claripennis n. comb., Orthocladius (Euorthocladius) difficilis, Parametriocnemus graminicola, Paraphaenocladius debilipennis n. comb., Smittia parva and SmittIa velutina.
