The Institute of Design offers four educational programs. Currently about 90 students from representing more than 15 different nationalities are enrolled. One bachelor of arts degree program is offered in industrial design and is open to Swedish-speaking students only. Three two-year master's programs---in transportation design, advanced product design, and interaction design---were started in 1996 and are open to international students.
