Subjects

What is included in Subjects?

The Subjects field contains keywords from several sources that are put together in this view. The keywords include:

• Keywords from the Open Polar controlled vocabulary. These keywords are polar related keywords that are added to the record based on the content of certain metadata fields, e.g. title and description, etc.
• Geographic locations from the polar areas that are extracted from the record's metadata.
• Keywords from the original metadata of the record.
