San Diego State University

San Diego State University (SDSU) is a public research university in San Diego, California. Founded in 1897 as San Diego Normal School, it is the third-oldest university and southernmost in the 23-member California State University (CSU) system. The university offers bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and doctoral degrees through its eight distinct colleges.

SDSU consists of the College of Arts and Letters, Fowler College of Business, College of Education, College of Engineering, College of Health and Human Services, College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts, College of Sciences, and the College of Graduate Studies. The university also includes the Weber Honors College.

The university is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). It is classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity". SDSU has a total undergraduate enrollment of 32,896 (Fall 2023). The San Diego State Aztecs compete in NCAA Division I (FBS) as a member of the Mountain West Conference. Provided by Wikipedia
